It's St. Paddy's Day!!

Today is St. Paddy's Day.
What does that mean for me?
Hmmmm....
Not much except that I had to find out about it on facebook.
Think I pretty much find out about everything on facebook these days.

It means that I had to use my eyes as an excuse for not getting pinched.
So far it's worked. (Even though they're really more grey than green.)
It means that Husband came home with a little green construction paper thing pinned to his shirt.
Apparently someone at work was handing them out.
Husband is kind and all the ladies at his work think so.
Which is why they make him crafty green flowers for St. Paddy's.

It means that there will be lots and lots of Irish recipes on all the food blogs I follow religiously.
And that I'm in the mood to try my hand at Irish Soda Bread.
It also means that I'm glad I don't have to work tonight.
Don't want to clean up all those who end up in the ER because of too much green beer.

Happy St. Paddy's Day everyone!!  If I find any good Irish recipes, I'll post them!

Happy St Patrick's to you too. We like to do a throw back to Memorial days and have green food. Were you there when we did the green potlucks each year? Troy started that at work this year and they liked it...although didn't gobble up the green chicken noodles he made ;)

Christy, I am so proud of you! What a great job you are doing on your Blog! I love reading it all! It gives me courage to get mine started! You may not know this or have forgotten, but your Uncle Louie was born on St. Patrick's Day. Love you! Mom
