New Adventures and Horses...

I recently came across an old desire to try my hand at photography, as well as a few dollars to spend on a new camera.  After a decent amount of research, I settled on a very nice Canon that will serve me well enough to get my feet wet in this new adventure!
Eventually, the plan is to become completely obsessed with all things photography, undoubtedly resulting in many hours spent drooling over pictures and equipment online.
From that point, I can only imagine where this thing will lead, as the camera already feels very very good in my hand.
I also find myself looking at practically everything as a possible photo opportunity.
I think this is probably a sign of some sort.

At any rate, these are just a few of the shots I have come up with so far.
And before you see them, I should say that I am unbelievably thankful to my friend, Jennifer Olinske for all of her help. She is a pretty awesome real deal photographer and a sweet friend to boot.
She showed me how to take a few of these shots.
As well as how to turn the camera on.
You think I'm kidding.
I am.
I think.

These are the hats husband and I recently bought in Silver Dollar City.
And that horse on the right?
The one nibbling on the other horse...
That's mine.

Not sure what this guys name is, but I think it is pretty obvious that he would rather be somewhere else right now.
Or he would rather me be somewhere else right now.
Yes, probably that.

Jennifer has the best ideas.
Love this simple knotted head stall.

And, oh my. I just love this guy.

In case it isn't obvious, I chose the barn as my first photo shoot practice spot.
Kind of love being out at the barn for any reason.

However, I also love being home.
With my fresh flowers and my favorite dining room table in the world.

And that's it for now.
But only for now.
Tomorrow is another day.
