feeling sort of grateful and all that jazz

Tomorrow's post will be more patriotic. At least the pictures will be.
Because today I plan to take a lot of pictures of family and friends celebrating the 4th together at the picnic we are heading off to here in a short bit.
However, I wanted to stop in really, really quick like and say Happy Fourth of July to all of you fellow Americans. And God BLESS the USA!
Please.
We need it.

And I am grateful.
I am grateful for the love of God that redeems me on a daily basis.
I am grateful for a Savior that died so that I can live.
I am grateful for the men and women who sacrifice so that I can be free, and have picnics, and live life, and enjoy the simple things that I selfishly take for granted.
I am grateful for cable TV and time each evening to watch alien invasion shows with the husband.
I am grateful for a sunroom where I sit every morning to read my Bible and work on my blog.

I am grateful for the opportunity to stay home with my children and for a husband who makes that happen.
I am grateful for Coke Zero.
I am grateful for a place to swim every summer.

I am grateful for kids that come home to visit because they love their momma.
I am grateful for deals on Craigslist, friends who love without hesitation, and pastors who are true to their word and connect with the youth of our church. Even if it means wearing red jeans on a Sunday morning.

I am grateful for life.
Here.
Now.
Eternally.

And I am grateful for you, dear reader.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and thank you to all those who leave comments and email.
I so enjoy connecting with you.
God bless you. God bless this country.
And Happy 4th of July!!

Awww. Sounds like you have a pretty awesome life! I feel like the more I appreciate what I have...the less I worry about what I don't.
