Chocolate Chip Cookies
Today I made chocolate chip cookies.
Against my doctor's advice to stay in bed.
Hmmmmm....
At any rate, I thought I would share them with you.
In a "here is the recipe and pictures in case you want to make them" sort of way.
Hope that's good enough.
To begin with, set your oven to 350.
Cream the following ingredients in a mixer (wooden spoon works as well):
1.5 cups soft unsalted butter
1.25 cups sugar
1.25 cups packed brown sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla
Add 2 eggs. Mix.
Then add the following ingredients and mix well.
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
I know most recipes will tell you to sift the dry ingredients together before adding them to the creamed mixture, but I didn't and mine turned out fine.
Enlist a willing helper to stir in the 24 oz. of chocolate chips.
(I like to use half semi sweet and half milk chocolate.)

It will look something like this.
I like to cream mine till the mixture is light and fluffy.

It's not necessary for your helper to be as cute as mine, but this was the only "willing" one I could find.
Spoon dough onto cookie sheets in tablespoon sized balls.
Bake for approximately 11-13 minutes @ 350.
Cool for a minute or two.
Serve to cookie lovers everywhere.
(This part is easier to find "willing" participants.)
Mmmmmm.....
