Girl has STYLE.
It will probably never be said that this is a fashion blog.
And I doubt that many of you are wondering where I get my tee shirts.
Or that one pair of earrings that I always wear.
It isn't that I don't care about fashion. I love fashion.
It's just that so many other things have long since claimed top spot on my list of daily priorities.
It's just that so many other things have long since claimed top spot on my list of daily priorities.
Feed the children.
Clean the house.
Check on the grandmother.
Cook the dinner.
Help with the homework.
Run the errands.
and the list goes on...
So for me, a tee shirt and a comfy pair of sweats is my general attire for the day to day.
If and when I venture out of the house, I will throw on a little makeup, exchange the sweats for jeans, and add that one favorite pair of earrings.
Comfort.
It's my middle name and it's also how I roll these days.
But, the girl.
The girl has the time to do a messy bun and make it look like a glorious happening of accidental beauty.
The girl has the time to perfectly line the eyes and highlight the cheekbones.
The girl has the time to try on three different outfits until the right one just "speaks" to her and her ever changing whims.
And that is where I would like to come in and take just the smallest slice of credit.
In addition to helping to bring the girl into the world, raise her for the past umpteen years, teach her how to line the eyes, and allow her to use my favorite hairbrush....
I apparently can lay claim to a little bit of style and maybe the slightest amount of swag.
In other words, I successfully put together the two outfits you see below.
By myself.
At the mall.
From two different stores.
And I even got the sizing right.
Check. It. Out.
Denim jacket - JcPenney
Anchor shirt - Windsor
Pink Maxi skirt - Windsor
Orange dress - JcPenney
And apparently so do I.
I am not completely without hope.

Mine is a fashion Diva at 6 months old. If she doesn't have a bow she won't be happy leaving the house. Put her in a dress and the smiles get bigger!
Me on the other hand... I am lucky to get makeup on me! I aspire to keep up like you do!

And I'm not much for fashion either. :)
